I read an interesting blog yesterday regarding a photography technique called "free-lensing" and decided to try it out. Free-lensing is taking your photos with the lens detached to your camera. The results are fun and interesting. The plane of focus (blurriness/depth of field) can be stunning from the photos I've seen by other photographers who have played around with this technique.
Here are some photographs of my first attempts at free-lensing that are SOOC (straight out of camera w/out any editing). I love the blurriness in the photo of my son's piano. Hoping to play around more with this technique on landscape and people.
