Although I'm not near the ocean and visit it as much like I use to, it is still one of my favorite places to visit and photograph my children playing. Here is a photo archive taken a few years ago in San Diego, CA of my little guy doing what he loves to do - run and run some more! Have a wonderful week folks. On a side note, the grainy quality is inspired by film photography, a craft I hope to learn more of.
I took this photo years ago and have always loved this photograph since capturing this image propelled me to have more of an interest in abstract photography. When I have more time on my hands, I hope to explore this subject matter more in depth. Therefore, stay tune...for now, I hope you all have a blessed and loving week.
It was such a fun trip a year ago during my excursion in Mexico. I loved every thing about this local church, from the lines, shapes and composition to the vintage quality. Not to mention, the locals were kind.
What can I say about this image other than it makes my heart smile. Taken at La Jolla Beach, CA and how I really miss the ocean. The smell, the sound, the sand, the water...I hope to connect with it soon.
I love capturing blown bubbles and converting it into a black and white photograph. Hope you all blow some bubbles today.

I am looking forward to exploring the beautiful scenery in central valley California. I took this in the Fall, which was peeking my curiosity with the brown, yellow, red, and orange hues softly shouting that it has arrived. I am looking forward to plenty of photo opportunities.

Hey there, I'm hoping you have had a great start to the week as you're reading this. Over the weekend, I ended up cleaning up my computer and looking through old photographs, which is the fun part. I'm amazed at how fast the time flies and here is a sweet photo of one of my lovely nieces taken a few years ago.
This was taken at Mission Bay in San Diego, CA during a break from home renovations and moving. Sand + Bucket = Fun.

May these two sweet gifts of mine grow to always remain close friends; sharing fun memories and being each other's encouragement when life gets challenging. I'm so grateful for the ability to capture them growing up together.

Hey all, (wow) its been a short while since I've posted and summer has been filled with fun days at the beach as well as hectic days of preparation in order to sell our home and start on new adventures. We are excited but nervous for the path that God will lead us to, and I'm grateful for moments like this to be able to work on my art and photography. The above photograph is of one of my many beautiful nieces. Wishing everyone a fun summer ending and filled with days of hope during times of uncertainty.
This was a photograph that was part of a series that I took of my daughter in order to experiment with the light shining through our living room window. I love the quality of these images; check out another image here.

This is an archived image from a series of a fun photo shoot I took of my daughter for my daily photo project, you can view the image that I chose for my Project 365 here. She's on the couch and the only source of natural light was from our window (left). At first, she was uninterested in me taking pictures, then her attention was given to the window, and all of a sudden she started laughing. I'm so glad I caught this moment.

This photo was taken a year ago and it makes me want to join in on the play set fun with this little guy, who happens to be my nephew. I love the colors and I definitely saw an opportunity to use the play set as framing; with the combination of his smile and the framing of the play set, it is as if he is inviting the viewer personally to come play with him. I wouldn't be able to resist the fun. Have a playful day folks!

I love the range in this photograph of my little guy. These type of shots make me feel like I am an observer of the moment, not a photographer but an observer, waiting to see a moment that is worth capturing. When my son ran freely on this long stretch of path, unsure of what he was running to, observing his surrounding and taking everything in that was curious to him, I observed but didn't take a photograph. It was until he stopped and looked at whatever caught his attention that propelled me to lift up my camera and snap. And the thought in my head was to capture "curiosity." The challenge for me was how I would capture it in a photograph? The above picture is the result.
